Brief introduction of Yang Huchen.

Yang Huchen joined the Chinese Red Army of Workers and Peasants in 193 1. 1934, joined the China * * * production party. During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, he served as a guard, the platoon leader of the reconnaissance platoon of the Red 3 Army, the company commander and battalion commander of the 4 th Regiment of the 5 th Division of the Red 2 Army.

Participated in the counter-campaign against "encirclement and suppression" and the 25,000-mile long March in the revolutionary base areas of western Hunan, Hubei and Sichuan and Guizhou. During the period of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, he served as the adjutant of the Eighth Route Army Division Command 120, the battalion commander of three detachments and eight regiments, the director of the Health Center of the Ministry of Health of the Northwest Shanxi Military Region, and the chief of the management section of the Suiyuan Joint Defense Army Command. He participated in the battles of establishing the anti-Japanese base area in northwest Shanxi and moving to Jizhong. During the War of Liberation, he served as the director of the Industrial and Commercial Bureau and the manager of the trading company of the 9th Military Division of the Jinsui Military Region, 1 1 the manager of the trading company of the military division, and the deputy manager of the trading company of Gansu Province. After the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), he served as the director of Xi Office of Logistics Department of Northwest Military Region, the director of barracks department of Logistics Department of Northwest Military Region, the director of China People's Liberation Army Horse Bureau, the director of State Farm Administration, the director of Immigration Bureau of State Agricultural Reclamation Bureau, the director of Military Racecourse Management Department of General Logistics Department, the deputy director of Enterprise Department and the deputy director of Quartermaster Department, and made contributions to the logistics construction of our army. 1964 promoted to the rank of major general. He was awarded the third-class August 1st Medal, the second-class Independent Freedom Medal and the first-class Red Star Meritorious Medal.

He died in Beijing on May 2, 2006 at the age of 92.
