Excuse me for studying in the Philippines, what is SSP?
Philippines "SSP (Special Study Permit) Special Study Permit" "SSP" is for those who hold tourist visas to study English courses and non-degree courses (Non-degree). It is valid for 6 months in The "Special Study Permit" for studying in the Philippines, SSP is not a formal visa. Although you hold an SSP, you still need a formal visa to enter the Philippines. When the visa expires, you also need to apply for an extension (SSP validity period: 6 moon). The issuance of SSP has nothing to do with visas. Although you hold SSP, you need to apply for an extended visa if you stay beyond the first visa permit. According to the regulations of the Philippine Immigration Department, you need to apply for SSP if you meet the following three conditions: 1. Foreigners 2. Study without a degree 3. The language learning period is less than one year. Therefore, anyone who goes to the Philippines for a short-term study tour or participates in a short-term course (such as a language course) needs to obtain an SSP. A student holding an SSP means that he or she is attending a local language school in the Philippines with a legal status. Obtaining an SSP means that the school can legally accept foreigners to study. Therefore, choosing a school with SSP certification can ensure the legality of your study.
