The merits and demerits of Columbus

The first view; It is believed that Columbus was a pioneer in bringing America into the family of modern human civilization and a historical figure who made special contributions to human social exchanges. In America, Columbus enjoys the title of "the father of immigrants".

The second view: Columbus was a colonial robber, which brought disaster to the Indians. A museum in Boston shows that more than 30 million Indians have been killed by invaders since15th century.
