Most of the players are from Harbin women's ice hockey team. China women's ice hockey 1996 and 1999 won the gold medal in the Asian Winter Games, and 1998 won the fourth place in the Nagano Winter Olympics. It was once a strong team in the world women's ice hockey field and reached its glory in the mid-1990 s. During this period, the team won the fourth place in the Women's Ice Hockey World Championships twice, and was known as the "Great Wall of Wan Li, China".
