How to travel to Iran

Traveling to Iran requires getting a visa, choosing flights and changing foreign currency.

1, visa application

If you choose to travel with a group, you can consult the travel agency before signing up for the group. Under normal circumstances, travel agencies help tourists, but there is an extra charge. China citizens holding diplomatic and official passports are exempt from visas and stay in Iran for 30 days. Holders of business passports and personal passports must apply for visas from Iraqi embassies and consulates abroad in advance, and the stay period is generally 30 days. If it is necessary to extend their visas, they must apply to the foreign affairs police before their visa stay expires.

Step 2 Choose a flight

At present, there are planes flying to Tehran, the capital of Iran, mainly in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Mahan Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Emirates Airlines and China Southern Airlines are recommended.

2. Exchange foreign currency

It is recommended to bring US dollars into the country, which can be exchanged around airports, hotel banks and some shopping places. Some big cities also have private money exchange offices. American dollars can be used directly in many places in Iran, but small shops and some booths in Bazaar do not accept American dollars at present, so it is recommended to exchange some riyals locally.

1. When traveling to Iran, you must pay attention to your clothes. Girls need to wear headscarves, not short-sleeved and navel-exposed clothes. Of course, shorts are no good. Boys are relatively better, except that pants must be knee-high, and there is little stress in other places. Of course, shirtless is naturally impossible.

2. If female tourists want to dress up in fashion, they can bring a nice big silk scarf and wrap the whole head and hair. You need to take it with you from the moment you get off the plane.

3. When traveling in Iran, if you want to take a photo with the local people, you must say hello in advance, especially the old women and girls. Don't hug your shoulders and waist when taking pictures.
