Steps to apply for a study visa in the United States

Fill in the online application form

Fill in the DS 160 non-immigrant visa application form online and print out the "confirmation page" with bar code.

Pay visa application fee

Pay the visa application fee. After payment, print the receipt number and keep it properly. Once lost, it cannot be replaced. If you don't provide the receipt number, you will not be able to make an appointment.

Appointment interview time

Log in to the profile page with the voucher used when paying the fee. After entering the system, you can see the control panel. Click "Schedule Interview Time" in the left menu to start the appointment arrangement process.

Interview at the appointed place

Appoint a place for an interview, and appoint a time for an interview at the consulate. Please bring the printed reservation form, the printed confirmation page of DS 160, recent photos of the last six months and all new and old passports.

Get a passport and a study visa

If the visa is passed, send the passport and visa to the designated place selected during the appointment interview.
