Some scholars believe that Qin Shihuang is not only a friend of Laozi, but also a historian of Qin State. Lao Tzu was probably introduced in the Qin Dynasty. After Laozi entered the Qin State, his disciples were all dignitaries of the upper class, and they may even be members of the Wang family in the Qin State.
