Speak English in Russia

You can just think of them as Europeans. In fact, their education level is much higher than that of China, and they are generally well-cultivated (of course, there are exceptions in every society, and here we only talk about the whole).

I went there the year before last. Ordinary citizens may not speak fluent English, let alone Chinese. But just like China, teenagers still know some English, at least they can communicate. Moreover, people with higher education, whether young or middle-aged, can speak English, because English is also their working language when they go out to work.

Living standards in Moscow and St. Petersburg are very high. Last year, they were the most expensive cities in the world. Basically, spending dollars there is the same as spending RMB in China. You can only buy one popsicle for one dollar.

So if you go to Russia, you'd better find a local student guide, which is cheap and good. They basically all have cars. So you don't have to rent another car.
