When the water current hits, the potential energy drives the turbine to rotate, which becomes mechanical energy, and the mechanical energy drives the generator to rotate, which is converted into electrical energy as we know it. Power production depends on hydropower stations, and power output depends on power grids. Thermal power generation, its supply and transportation relationship is also the same. Power load input or output, there must be access channels. We usually see a series of transmission towers and high-voltage lines, which are just power corridors. Its output and landing input are called switching stations and substations in the industry.

There is a 220kV switch station in Ertaishan Mountain on the east side of Yingxiu Town. It is the only transmission channel in Aba southern power grid. If the accident breaks down, it means that more than one million kilowatts of power of five backbone hydropower stations such as Yingxiu, Gengda and Yuzixi and dozens of other small hydropower stations in the Minjiang River Basin are lost in vain and cannot be delivered.

On May 12, 2008, the power accumulated by the earth broke out from the underground of Yingxiu, a beautiful town. Even the 220 kV Ertaishan switching station, which is much stronger than ordinary buildings, has not escaped this irresistible disaster in nature. The entrance road collapsed, the electrical equipment, fences and retaining walls in the station area were all damaged, and the water and electricity transmission channels were all interrupted.

Electricity is the guarantee of reconstruction in disaster areas. Therefore, State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Company decided to rebuild the 220kV Ertaishan Substation in situ.

The power transmission channel is damaged and can be rebuilt. Then, what about Yingxiuwan Hydropower Plant, a hydropower enterprise that provides electricity for industrial and agricultural production and the lives of urban and rural residents? Yingxiu Bay, Yuzixi and Gengda power stations were seriously damaged, and Yingxiu office area, living area and production site houses were all in ruins, with heavy casualties. Where will the enterprise go? The projector who is still in great grief is faced with a major choice: either, sink into passive or hopeless waiting; Either, rise strong in the ruins!

For a time, rumors spread everywhere. Employees are full of worries about the future of the enterprise that is about to enter the "year of no doubt", and they are also worried about their personal way out ... In fact, in the face of catastrophe, no one has clear thinking, clear goals and bold actions than the leading bodies of Sichuan Electric Power Company and Yingdian General Factory.

On June 8, Zhu Changlin, general manager of Sichuan Electric Power Company, visited Yingdian General Factory, highly affirmed Yingdian's earthquake relief work, and instructed: properly appease the families of the casualties and arrange the transitional houses; Accelerate the restoration and reconstruction of the third British Power Station.

On June 9th, Yingdian General Factory completed the first drafts of the restoration and reconstruction schemes for three power stations.

On June 12, Sichuan Electric Power Company established Aba Power Grid Restoration and Reconstruction Working Group and Yingxiuwan Hydropower Plant Restoration Working Group, with He Yuansen, Deputy General Manager of Sichuan Electric Power Company as the team leader.

On June 13, the Biotechnology Department of the provincial company organized a meeting on the resumption of production of Yingdian General Factory, selected Yingxiuwan Power Station as the main battlefield of the first battle, and put forward a clear goal: "In March 2009, the first unit of Yingdian resumed power generation".

On June 20th, Yingdian General Factory held a mobilization meeting for resuming production in a humble conference room in Dujiangyan. Director Hu Ruilin impressed the participants with his sincere hope and moved them.

Restoring the power station to generate electricity on the ruins is undoubtedly a second venture on the land that predecessors have worked hard.

The power station is in a state of emergency! We must pull the floodgate as soon as possible!

At the moment of the landslide, the infrastructure of Yingxiuwan, Yuzixi and Gengda hydropower stations in Yingdian General Factory was seriously damaged, and all the distribution facilities were destroyed, and the generator set stopped running. After the earthquake, the dam gate of the power station collapsed, and the flood could not be discharged in time, forming a huge dammed lake, endangering the lives and property of hundreds of thousands of people downstream. The Hydropower Command of the Armed Police issued an urgent order to the 11th detachment of the Third Corps: organize engineers and technicians to conduct on-site reconnaissance and resume power station reconstruction as soon as possible.

On may 2 1, the detachment party Committee held an emergency meeting to discuss three schemes for flood discharge and danger removal: first, remove the gate; The second is to blow up the dam; Third, organize personnel to take risks on the dam, lift the sluice manually, and save the dam for reconstruction. Defending the dam is very risky, and blasting the dam is tantamount to digging out the hearts of officers and men who have been engaged in hydropower construction for a long time ... The meeting finally decided to organize personnel to take risks on the dam and lift the gate manually at all costs. However, at this time, the dam has been destroyed, and the ship can't arrive, the car can't drive in, and heavy equipment can't be transported at all.

The detachment immediately organized a 13 rescue commando team, and together with two technicians from British Electric, dropped it by helicopter to the dam area of Yingxiuwan Power Station on May 26th. 15, after 96 hours of fighting, just lifted five gates to the planned position.

The first problem encountered in reconstruction is the tailrace bridge of Yingxiuwan Power Station. This tailrace bridge is 14m long, which is not only a highway bridge in Du Wen, but also a tailrace channel in Zhan Ying. The tailrace bridge collapsed in the earthquake. Tailrace Bridge is one of the key nodes to open the life channel of Du Wen Road. One of the schemes is to bury the tailrace bridge in situ and tamp the subgrade; The second is to rebuild the tailrace bridge. The former is simple and quick, but in this way, the tail water in Zhan Ying will not come out of the cave, and Zhan Ying will be scrapped, losing hundreds of millions. The latter scheme needs to eliminate thousands of wastes, which experts estimate will take three months. The order of the superior is: 20 days, put the bridge up.

Military orders are like mountains. The officers and men worked hard day and night. When cleaning slag, large equipment can't get in, and it depends on the officers and men carrying a cement block outside the hole.

It took 7 days and 7 nights to build a permanent bridge at the original tailrace bridge.

The first step of emergency repair of power station is to check and repair the damage degree of diversion channel. At that time, in order to clear the silt, officers and men stood waist-deep in the mire, and the biting river was so cold that people shivered. Every time they go into the water, they have to take a sip of white wine. Everyone just dug their shoulders by hand and cleaned up more than 30 thousand pieces of silt. In order to move the boulder out of the hole, one shift will damage 10 drill pipe, and the highest temperature on the construction site will reach 40 degrees, and the clothes of officers and men can be unscrewed every time they call it a day. In order to remove oil pollution, officers and men used nearly 1 ton washing powder to clean up more than 200 meters of factory passages.
