How to get a new passport in Cambodia

Go to the Consular Department of the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia to apply.

If you are a Chinese tourist and lose your passport locally, it is very likely that the passport will not be reissued, but a travel permit will be issued for you to use back home. The specific application information is as follows:

1. Under the following circumstances, the license holder can apply for a replacement Chinese ordinary passport

1. Live, work, study, etc. in Cambodia for a long time.

2. The passport is valid for less than half a year.

3. The passport visa page has been exhausted.

4. The passport is seriously damaged, affecting its use.

2. Submit information

1. 1 copy of "Passport/Travel Certificate/Seaman's Certificate/Return Certificate Application Form of the People's Republic of China".

2. 3 recent, frontal, color photos (48mmx33mm) without hats, head width 21mm-24mm, length 29mm-33mm, photo background color is white or light blue. Please paste 1 of the photos on the application form.

3. Original and copy of passport (data page with photo).

4. A copy of the valid Cambodian residence visa page.
