What conditions do Australian immigrants need?
1. The principal applicant is under 55 years old and has no criminal record.
2. You have lived in Australia for 4 years before applying, and you have PR status in at least one of these 4 years (i.e. 12 months).
3. The total time to leave Australia in these four years should not exceed one year, and you should not leave Australia for more than 90 days in the year of applying for naturalization.
In order to be able to speak and understand basic English, the applicant must attend the interview and state the obligations and rights of Australian citizens in English.
5. Children under the age of 16 who intend to live in Australia or maintain close ties with Australia can be included in the naturalization application of either parent without meeting the residence requirements.
