People are not surprised by the border conflict between Asia and Afghanistan. Due to historical reasons, the dispute between the two countries in the Naka area has a long history. During the Soviet Union (1988), two countries both joined the Republic because of the border conflict. With the passage of time, the contradictions between the two sides have intensified. Finally, in 1992, a border conflict broke out between Asia and Albania, which was called "Naka War" by foreign media.

At that time, the national armed forces that Asia and Afghanistan relied on were all the old foundations left by the Soviet era. Three divisions in Armenia were originally Soviet, but there were no special military airports. Azerbaijan has five divisions and three military airports. Taking advantage of the chaotic period at the beginning of the disintegration of the Soviet Union, both countries obtained a considerable amount of weapons from the evacuated Caucasus internal affairs forces of the former Soviet Union. Among them, many of the equipment were "sold" by young Soviet soldiers in order to "take the toll".

Because Albania has strong economic strength (including Caspian oil fields), it has more weapons than Ethiopia. Take ammunition as an example. The Asian side has only 500 carriages, while the Afghan side has as many as 1000 carriages of ammunition. This alone constitutes an overwhelming advantage of 20 1. After years of bloody fighting, contradictions still exist.

At the beginning of the war, the Asian side advanced smoothly and conquered many towns in Naka within a few months. 1On May 9, 992, after a day and a night of brutal street fighting, the Asian side captured Shusha, an important stronghold of the Afghan side in Naka, and both sides paid a heavy price of hundreds of casualties.

This failure made Albania angry. In July of that year, after careful organization, Albania dispatched 8,000 troops and made the first large-scale strategic breakthrough in the war. Under the cover of air, the Afghan side took tanks and armored vehicles as the forerunner, first carried out a strategic feint, and then launched a large-scale attack. The unprepared Asian side was hard to resist for a while, which led to the Afghan army occupying several strongholds in Naka one after another.

However, Armenians are not vegetarians either. After recovering the lost territory, they dispatched armed helicopters to attack the Albanian armored forces, which quickly stopped the opponent's attack. Of course, hundreds of creatures also died in this battle. It is worth mentioning that in this campaign, both sides recruited and hired many officers and men of neighboring Russian troops in their personal capacities. What's more, in the counterattack of the Asian side, there are pilots driving armed helicopters and tank soldiers driving armored vehicles to fight for the Arab side from the same Russian army!

This situation fully shows the complexity of the Caucasus. In this Nagorno-Karabakh war, mercenaries from both Asia and Afghanistan came from all sides. Former Soviet veterans, Russian soldiers on leave, deserters from former internal affairs forces, volunteers from Greece, Turkey and Iran, and even Chechen bandits. It is said that Chechen rebel leader basaev personally led hundreds of "clique" to help Albania fight, and became famous for "finally withdrawing from Shusha stronghold".

However, the problem of Nagorno-Karabakh has not been solved, and it is still an important factor that hinders the relationship between Asia and Albania and affects peace in the Caucasus-Caspian region.
