When the war ended, the soldiers stationed in the garrison began to carry out barracks, and at the same time continued to exercise and train to prevent unexpected changes.

In Guizhou, they mainly stayed in Anshun area on the western line, which is "the belly of Guizhou and the throat of Yunnan". The Ming army's move was brilliant, and it grabbed its stomach and throat, so that Guizhou and Yunnan could not be connected. The places where they station their troops are called posts, guards, shops, castles, tunnels and so on. At that time, this part of the army did not want to come to Guizhou all the way, but was forced to March into Guizhou by lottery (some soldiers also carried their families). At the same time, this is also the largest migration in Guizhou history. The arrival of these Han immigrants from Jiangnan water towns has had a far-reaching impact on Guizhou's economy, politics and culture.
