Is the United States Europe?

The United States does not belong to Europe. The United States belongs to the New World and is a North American country. North America and Europe are separated by the Atlantic Ocean. The United States is a country of immigrants whose ancestors are all Europeans. The population of the United States is mainly composed of European Americans (whites) and African Americans (blacks).

The United States of America, referred to as "the United States", is a federal government and a constitutional country composed of Washington, DC, 50 states, Guam and many other overseas territories. The main part is located in the middle of North America and is the common English of a country of immigrants.

The United States was originally a settlement of Indians. At the end of the 15th century, Spain, the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom and others immigrated here one after another. Before the 18th century, Britain established 13 British North American colonies on the Atlantic coast of the United States. In 1775, the American people's War of Independence broke out against the colonial rule of the British Empire. On July 4, 1776, the Second Continental Congress was held in Philadelphia, with George Washington as Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army, and issued the Declaration of Independence, declaring the formal establishment of the United States of America. The War of Independence ended in 1783, and Britain recognized the independence of 13 colonies. In 1787, the United States Constitution was adopted and a federal state was established.

The United States is the second largest country in the Americas. It borders the Atlantic Ocean to the east, the Pacific Ocean to the west, Canada to the north, and Mexico to the south. Alaska is located in the northwest of the North American continent, Hawaii is an archipelago in the middle of the Pacific, and there are overseas territories such as Puerto Rico and the Northern Mariana.
