These are the vaccines that children need.

Children in kindergartens, preschool institutions and kindergartens need to be vaccinated;

Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (DTaP, or DT, if applicable)

Polio (IPV or OPV)

Measles, mumps, rubella (each 1 dose, usually administered together as MMR)

Chickenpox (1 dose or disease history)

Haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib): Only less than 5 years old.

Hepatitis B (HBV)

Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV): only less than 5 years old.

Hepatitis A: 1 dose, 18 months old or above.

Children registered in kindergartens:

Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (DTaP, or DT, if applicable)

Hepatitis B (HBV)

Measles, mumps, rubella (2 doses of each, usually given together as MMR)

Polio (IPV or OPV): The last dose on or after the 4th birthday.

Chickenpox (2 doses or medical history)

Hepatitis A: 2 doses in total, at least 6 months apart.

All children entering the seventh grade (including students currently registered):

Tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis booster ("Tdap"): If Td

Record the intensive dose given less than 5 years before entering the seventh grade.

On DTaP/Td

Immune verification of varicella: 2 doses or medical history

Newly enrolled children in non-kindergarten or seventh grade TN school:

Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (DTaP, or DT, if applicable).
