Engaged in the design, construction and quality inspection of water conservancy projects for a long time. He has participated in the design of Jingjiang flood diversion project and Dujiatai flood diversion project in Hanjiang River, participated in the design of Danjiangkou water control project and served as the head of the front design, and organized and led the design of Gezhouba water control project, which is one of the main heads of engineering design. Responsible for the preparation of the supplementary report on the revision of the comprehensive utilization plan of the Yangtze River basin. Gezhouba River Closure Project and Erjiang River Project, which participated in the design, won the Gold Award and the Silver Award of 198 1 1984 National Excellent Design Project respectively. Gezhouba II, Sanjiang Project and its hydropower units won the national special prize for scientific and technological progress1985; The Report on Comprehensive Utilization Planning of the Yangtze River Basin (revised 1990) won the first prize of scientific and technological progress of the Ministry of Water Resources 1994.
