What is a real civil servant like? You got it?
I am an ordinary college liberal arts boy, majoring in economics, and my employment is bleak, as we all know. At present, the public examination is a good choice. Facing the highly competitive employment environment, my ability is acceptable, but I'm not sure I can find a satisfactory job. On the one hand, watching online grassroots civil servants complain about the pressure and low wages. On the other hand, many college graduates outside the system are bent on getting in, and the competition ratio of 1,000 to 1 is very common. There are two phenomena that make me extremely confused.
As a boy, if he is really admitted to the civil service, does it mean that he has embarked on a life of mixed food and death in the face of future marriage?
Examining civil servants = eating old money?
(1) Is it easy for civil servants to work? Look at the level, department, rank and age. Generally speaking, the grassroots are busy, the practical departments are busy, the soldiers are busy, and the young people are busy. Only those who successfully avoid these four elements can be "idle". At present, more than 90% of civil servants in China are clerks or below, and 60% of them are in government agencies below the county level. Are you qualified to be idle?
(2) Is it "not striving for progress" to test civil servants? Although compared with previous years, the public examination has cooled down. But there are hundreds or even thousands of fierce competitions every year, and it is still a fact that millions of people are crowded on the single-plank bridge. What are these people fighting for? It is a decent and stable job, a precious opportunity to realize the value of life, a broad stage to enhance comprehensive ability, and a quality label recognized and envied by relatives, friends and classmates. Is this "no progress"? Not being admitted to the civil service does not mean that the ability level is not good; But it is really difficult for people with poor ability to get into civil servants.
(3) With the job of a civil servant, can you eat and wait for death? It must be admitted that a small number of people in each unit retired early. There are many problems in the performance appraisal of civil servants and the mechanism of selecting and employing people. However, with a little brains, we can understand whether it is possible for China, a behemoth running at a high speed, to maintain economic development and social stability because of the widespread phenomenon of "mixed eating and waiting for death" among civil servants. Those who seem to enjoy themselves are nothing more than hopeless promotion, for reasons such as competition and age. To put it bluntly, most of them are Sun Liancheng in the workplace. Are you going to join them from the beginning? I have worked hard for more than 20 years. You will be rejected.
Is the civil service career attractive to young people?
Of course there is!
(1) In the first five years of employment, the income of civil servants did not lose the average level of enterprises, and even had a slight advantage.
(2) The occupational tolerance is relatively high, which allows young people to have an adaptation period and a harmonious relationship with colleagues. In contrast, enterprises are always in charge of performance, and they will leave immediately if they don't do well.
(3) Professionalization of civil servants' exercise. In an enterprise, you basically know a piece when you do it. This piece is highly subdivided and specialized. But in the post of civil servant, you must be a generalist and know everything.
(4) Professional special treatment for civil servants. There are fewer and fewer preferential treatments now, but Beijing and Shanghai hukou can at least be solved. In other units, it is self-evident how difficult it is to register. Of course, the career of civil servants is now under great pressure, with low income and high risks, and the road to promotion is long and tortuous. Coupled with the temptation of the market environment, many people choose to leave their jobs. Before entering a job, young people should really consider whether they can bear a relatively poor life with more pay and less income. If you think clearly about what you want and work hard, you won't regret it easily.
Dreams are for persistence, and all so-called "dreams" that cannot be adhered to are called blind participation! Dear friends who are struggling on the road to public examinations, work boldly towards your goals!
