Overview of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Local Taxation Bureau

There are seven counties in the whole region (Minfeng, Keping, Yumin, Qinghe, Jimunai, Akqi and Tashkurgan) that have not yet set up separate local tax agencies. There are more than 7,000 local tax employees in the whole system, including more than 2,000 ethnic minority employees, accounting for 30% of the total number of cadres and employees, and 90% of employees with college education or above. From the establishment of the bureau to 2009, the accumulated tax revenue of the organization was 65.438+04.286 billion yuan, with an average annual increase of 20.62%, and the tax revenue increased from 65.438+0994 to 65.438+067 billion yuan in 2009.
