Singapore, the prototype of our story

Our Story consists of two episodes, lasting nearly four hours. Through the life of a small Singaporean family in Singapore, it reflects the course of Singapore's national changes.

The main language of the film is Minnan, and the food culture involved is the culture of Fuzhou and other places. The narrator tells the history of such a diversified immigrant country from the perspective of "I" (daughter). Because of the age and other reasons, the film tells a lot of patriarchal and superstitious phenomena. I hope that the current audience will not criticize movies because of this, but promote these cultures.

The story is full of laughter and tears, and the protagonist is the tears of the whole film. I saw a little hard-working parents and the most gnashing uncle in my life. I think everyone has met such a person in their life. It's also good to know the history of Singapore after watching a movie!
