Reservoir resettlement compensation is paid at the Poverty Alleviation and Immigration Bureau. According to relevant public information, the immigrants who are responsible for the resettlement work in the reservoir area and are included in the scope of support will be subsidized to 600 yuan every year for a period of 20 years. Immigrants who moved in before June 30, 2006 will be supported for another 20 years from July 1 2006, and those who moved in after July 1 2006 will be supported for another 20 years from the date of relocation.
