What is the position of Huiji in history?

Huiji (sound "Guiji", meaning "Huiji"), an ancient place name in China, was once in Jiangsu and Zhejiang areas centered on Suzhou, Jiangsu or Shaoxing, Zhejiang.

In the first 222 years, Qin Shihuang designated the territory of wuyue in the pre-Spring and Autumn Period as Huiji County and Wu (now Suzhou) as the county (capital). Before 2 10, Qin Shihuang cruised to Huiji County, which is now Shaoxing "Da Yue" and renamed it Yin Shan.

In 229, Soochow in the Three Kingdoms period changed the county administration of Huiji County to Yin Shan. During the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Chen Houzhu designated a part of Shanyin County as Huiji County. Since then, Yin Shan and Hui Ji have been on and off many times. In the Tang Dynasty, Yin Shan and Hui Ji were both "Yuezhou". During Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty, Yuezhou was renamed Shaoxing, and Yin Shan and Huiji became subordinate counties of Shaoxing.
