How to write a composition about Qingming Festival (Commentary)

Qingming is a very traditional festival, a festival that has always been valued by the Chinese people. Maybe it is because I have never celebrated Qingming in the past seven years since I came to Shanghai, or maybe I go to the Martyrs Monument every time during Qingming. Tomb-sweeping made Qingming lose its essential meaning in my subconscious. A few days before Qingming Festival, I felt very sad when I heard from my classmates that they were going to visit graves in the countryside. An uncontrollable sadness spread in my heart. Until I passed by the bridge in the morning and saw the cemetery on the east side. The greenery could not hide the crowds of people coming and going. Some private cars parked quietly on the roadside, suggesting that they came here specially. Without warning, the pain spread to my fingertips, and my tears wanted to slip out of my eyes impulsively.

No matter what, I will never be able to do what these people do, what everyone is responsible for. After the family moved. Grandma, aunt, and relatives who have been buried in the soil of their hometown for generations have now been submerged by the ruthless water and have disappeared. I still can't forget the scene before leaving, the mournful cries of those kneeling in front of the grave, and how many tears were shed in front of the grave. When we finished burning the paper money, pulling out the weeds on the graves, and cleaning the mud on the monuments, many people stubbornly lay in front of the graves and refused to leave. You should know how taboo it is for a hometown where people are buried in the ground to have no bones left. And what kind of sin is it for those of us? How sad are the hearts of some old people who have fainted from crying? How much conscience condemnation will they suffer?

Perhaps the hometown custom of burial is doomed to the people of Three Gorges to go through many inner struggles. "Every time during the Qingming Festival, we miss our relatives even more." Many immigrants want to worship their ancestors, kowtow and burn incense, but now they only have extravagant hopes. The waters of the Three Gorges, which have brought benefits to so many people, have washed away the former homes and tombs of their ancestors, and even washed away the homesickness of many people.

How many people are eager to return to their hometown, return to their side, and call their deceased relatives deeply. But we no longer have a hometown, where we no longer have a foothold and shelter, let alone a place where we can fulfill our desire to visit graves.

Missing is a disease. The incubation period is when you have it, and the onset period is when you lose it. During the Qingming Festival, it rains heavily, and people who are homesick feel like losing their souls.
