The origin of Xiaoshan people

Xiaoshan has a long history. Historically, Xiaoshan people were divided into three categories:

1. sandman;

2. Li Tang people are usually called "Lifan people";

3. southerners.

Sand people live on the beach near Qiantang River. Most of them immigrated from Shaoxing. At first, they were poor. If they want to start a business, they can only rely on their own hands and brains. Therefore, the sand people are born with the quality of diligence, "willing to make a living by it" and "making it their home"; Moreover, Sha people are good at commodity trading and calculation. They are very concerned about market changes and price information. The first thing they said was, "Is the price of edamame good at present?" .

The people of Li Tang have lived in the safe zone inside the seawall for generations. They have a legacy left by their ancestors and their lives are relatively secure. They live in a family with ancestral halls and traditions, attach importance to friendship and pay attention to seniority and order. Most Li Tang people think that "a nest of gold and silver is not as good as their own grass nest" and like a stable life.

Nanpian people live in the south of Xiaoshan, close to the mountainous area, with mixed generations and concentrated surnames. Southern people have a strong sense of belonging and mutual help. They have the same voice, simple folk customs and Shang Yong's aggressive, loyal and brave style.

Historically, people from the three places, Li Tang people and Southern people were not closely related. The people in the pond look down on the sandman, and the sandman doesn't like the people in the pond. However, the reclamation in Xiaoshan changed all this.

The scale of reclamation in Xiaoshan is rare in the world. At the peak, hundreds of thousands of people were dispatched to the war. Almost all school-age men in Xiaoshan went to the battlefield of reclamation, left their homes in the cold winter, braved the biting cold wind, and walked dozens of miles, one or two hundred miles, to the Qiantang River to compete for land. They live in huts and huts, in the mud; Eat salty rice, drink salty tea, and eat with dried vegetables, tofu and dried radish; With simple tools such as iron harrow and soil plough, we fought against the fierce and ruthless tidal bore of Qianjiang River and created a beautiful and rich Xiaoshan reclamation.

Through the construction of Xiaoshan Reclamation Area, Sandman, Li Tang people and Nanpian people unite, fight together and live together, forming a solid friendship like comrades-in-arms, forming a brotherly cooperative relationship with * * * interests and * * * risks, and many people have also forged in-laws relationships. In this way, the people in the pond and the talents in the south will truly integrate into the people in Lifan. The distance between sandman and Lifan people is gradually getting closer.

With the acceleration of reform, opening up and socialist modernization, Sha people and Lifan people have been brought closer. In this way, the sandman and Lifan people merged into the real Xiaoshan people.
