Ningxiang City is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Hunan Province and is managed by Changsha City. Located at the south edge of Dongting Lake in the northeast of Hunan Province, in the west of Changsha City, between east longitude1153'-112 46' and north latitude 27 55'-28. Ningxiang belongs to a continental monsoon humid climate with four distinct seasons, short cold period and long hot period.
