How long does it take to get an American visa?

You can check the delivery information of your visa on the official visa information website "ustraveldocs" of the US Mission in China.

If your status shows' origin scanning', it means that your passport has left the embassy or consulate, but your passport has not yet arrived at the branch where it was collected.

In the status of "Ready to Collect", you can go to the branch you choose to collect your passport. If your status doesn't show "Ready to Collect", it means that your passport can't be collected yet. Please don't go to your assembly place.

After the visa application is approved, your passport and visa will be returned to you in one of the following two ways:

Send it to the business outlet of CITIC Bank that you selected before. Please note: CITIC Bank will only keep your passport information 15 days. /kloc-if it is not collected after 0/5 days, it will be returned to the embassy or consulate. You must collect your passport information within 15 days. Please don't go to CITIC Bank of your choice without being told that you can get your passport. You can only get your passport at the branch you choose.

Home delivery or office delivery (paid service option). This service does not include areas outside Chinese mainland (such as Hong Kong and Macao). If the mailing address of the applicant is not in Chinese mainland, the passport will not be delivered. This service requires you to pay extra freight directly to EMS when you receive your passport.

For non-immigrant visa applications, the mailing fees are as follows:

Mail it to the city where the visa is applied, and the fee is 24 yuan/Ben;

By mail to a city other than the visa processing place, the cost is 34 yuan/Ben.

Without face-to-face delivery, the cost will probably reach 34 yuan/Japan.

The mailing price of immigrant visa application is as follows (including 20 yuan insurance premium):

Guangdong Province: 59 yuan/Ben

Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangxi, Hainan, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou and Yunnan: 79 yuan/day.
