Cambodian visa is the endorsement and seal of the Cambodian government on passports or other travel documents held by domestic or foreign citizens to show that they are allowed to enter or leave Cambodia or pass through the country. It can also be said that it is an endorsement certificate issued to them. Generally speaking, a Cambodian visa is a document issued by Cambodia's entry-exit administration (such as the Immigration Bureau or its embassies and consulates abroad) to approve the entry of foreign citizens.

Cambodian citizens going to China must apply for visas in embassies and consulates in China, Cambodia in advance. At present, Cambodia has consulates general in China, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Kunming, Nanning, Beijing and Hong Kong. Generally, embassies and consulates in China only issues tourist and business visas, which are valid for three months and stay for one month.

Since September 14, 2006, China and Cambodia have exempted visa holders of diplomatic and official passports from each other. After entering the country with a business visa (e visa), you can apply for a long-term residence visa for half a year or one year through a local travel agency. Holding a tourist visa (T visa), you cannot change the visa type after entering the country.
