Lijin County is located in the northern part of Shandong Province, spanning 118°07′~118°54′ east longitude and 37°22′~38°12′ north latitude. It faces Kenli County, Dongying District and Boxing County across the Yellow River to the east, Hekou District to the north, and Binzhou City and Zhanhua County to the west. The county is oriented southwest to northeast, 102.5 kilometers long from north to south, 8.5-25 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of ??1,665.6 square kilometers.
