The origin of Yuhuangmiao village
It is said that in the early years of Yongle in Ming Dynasty, immigrants from Zaoqiang and other places in Hebei moved in, forming a natural village with mixed surnames. Because of the low terrain of Tuhai River, the villagers built a red temple to protect themselves from natural disasters. Later, Guanye Temple and Jiang Shui Temple were built one after another. There is a clay statue of the Jade Emperor in the temple, hence the name Jade Emperor Temple. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, there have been 46 graduates from junior colleges and technical secondary schools, including 2 doctoral students, 9 master students 1 and 9 cadres above the deputy department level.
