Historical evolution of Guangji

Guangji County was founded in the first year of Tianbao in the Tang Dynasty. Guangji County was formerly Yongning County. Before Yongning County, part of Guangji's territory was Qichun County and part was Jiujiang County. Looking further back, the Shang Dynasty belonged to the British. The Western Zhou Dynasty was the border between Hubei and England and belonged to England. The Qin Dynasty belonged to Lujiang County. The Western Han Dynasty belonged to Jiangxia County and was under the jurisdiction of the Yangzhou Governor's Department. The Western Jin Dynasty was the same as the Western Han Dynasty. Xunyang in the Han Dynasty included the area east of today's Jibu Mountain in Wuxue and the south of today's Huangmei County. It was also part of Pengli Lake in the Han Dynasty. In the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Jiangzhou was first established and Leizhou was separately established. Today Wuxue belongs to two states with Gubei River as the boundary. During the Song Dynasty of the Southern Dynasties, large-scale immigrants began to develop Taiping Mountain. Toutuo Temple on Wufeng Mountain was built, and Bao Zhao's reading desk was built. The culture is developed and the economy is growing. Today's Guangji County in the Southern Dynasties belongs to Jiangzhou. After the unification of the Sui Dynasty, the county system was adopted. Today Wuxue belongs to Jiujiang County and Qichun County. In the early Tang Dynasty, Qizhou was abolished and Ezhou was established. Today Wuxue belongs to Ezhou and is under the jurisdiction of Jiangnan Road. During the Yuanhe period of the Tang Dynasty, Ezhou was abolished and Huangzhou and Qizhou were established.
