How big is the photo on the passport?

Photography requirements:

(1) Applicants should maintain a correct sitting posture, keep their shoulders level and look straight at the camera;

(2) Applicants are self-sustaining, and their eyes are naturally opened, and they are not allowed to cover their eyes or make up;

(3) The applicant should wear dark collared clothes, not standard clothes;

(4) The applicant shall not wear colored glasses (except for the cause), and it is not advisable to wear thick-rimmed glasses. Glasses frames shall not block eyes, and lenses shall not reflect light;

(5) The applicant shall not use the head covering (the covering shall not cover the face or cause shadows when necessary for religion, medical care, culture, etc.), and the non-permanent ornaments shall not cover the face;

(6) Uniform illumination, no shadows and bright spots on the face;

(7) The background color should be uniform, without gradual change, and there should be no shadows, other people or objects.

Basic requirements for photos:

(1) Recent (semi-annual) color photos;

(2) The photo background should be free of any decoration, and the background color should be white and light blue. Do not use dark colors, such as red, brown and black.

(3) The portrait is focused accurately, with clear levels and true colors;

(4) Portrait features (scars, etc. ) technical treatment is not allowed;

(5) The photos are printed on photographic paper without stains, wrinkles, scratches and borders.

Photo specification requirements:

(1) file image format is JPEG.

(2) The image is 24-bit RGB true color;

(3) The scan resolution of paper photos is not less than 300 DPI；;

(4) The image file size ranges from 24 K bytes to 80 K bytes.
