Information about Seattle

Seattle is the largest city in the Pacific Northwest. Jinxian County, located between Puget Sound and Lake Washington, Washington, is about 174 km from the Canada-US border. Seattle is also the county seat of Jinxian County. Founded in 1869, Seattle is a commercial, cultural and high-tech center in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, and also a major tourist and trade port city that runs through the Pacific Ocean and Scandinavia in Europe. The greater Seattle area is surrounded by green mountains and green waters all year round, and Mount Rainier, the highest volcano in the United States, is in the distance.

Chief Seattle (1786-1June 7, 866) is the leader of Indian tribes in Washington State, USA. He believes in Catholicism and is willing to establish personal friendship with white immigrants and one of Seattle's founders, David Swainson Maynard. According to Maynard's suggestion, Seattle was named after Seattle Chief.
