Registered to study at a regular university (college) or research institution abroad (overseas) for more than one year, and obtained a bachelor's degree or above; or have a doctorate degree in China and go abroad to do postdoctoral research or further study Those who have been employed for more than one consecutive year can contact their overseas work unit to apply for employment and settlement procedures. Those who have obtained a college degree can apply for employment procedures by contacting their work unit at the place of residence. To apply for settling in Beijing, you must have a master's degree or above (inclusive) and apply within two years after returning to China (the time of return to China shall be subject to the completion of studies or the "Certificate of Returned Overseas Students"). ?

1. Students who have never gone through the procedures for job placement in China, and overseas students who have studied abroad and obtained a college degree or above;

2. Have gone through various procedures such as dismissal from public office Employees who have returned from studying abroad.

Things to note:

1. You have contacted your work unit, and the receiving unit has completed the "unit registration" procedures at the Overseas Study Service Center of the Ministry of Education, and you need to go through the employment and settlement procedures. For students studying abroad, please bring relevant materials to Room 319 of the Returning Home Office of the Ministry of Education’s Study Abroad Service Center to complete the procedures. Receiving units accepting students for the first time in Beijing must bring relevant materials to Room 323 of the Ministry of Education’s Study Abroad Service Center to register.

2. This item can be entrusted to others to handle; it can also be handled by mail. Mailing processing is limited to returnees who have studied abroad and are employed outside Beijing.

3. The "Letter of Acceptance of Overseas Units" and "Confirmation of File Custody" can be downloaded from the application materials column or filled out and issued according to the format. Must be filled out and submitted online.

Overseas students must provide materials when going through employment registration and settlement procedures

1. Copies of domestic and foreign college degree certificates (inclusive) and above.

2. Those who have obtained a degree abroad must provide the original and copy of the foreign academic degree certificate issued by the Study Abroad Service Center of the Ministry of Education. Domestic doctoral students studying abroad, working as postdoctoral fellows or visiting scholars must provide the original and photocopy of the domestic doctoral degree certificate issued by the Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Research Center of the Ministry of Education (Telephone: 010-82379480) (the accepting unit is a public college or university and (Except for national-level scientific research institutes), as well as the original and copy of the further training or study certificate from foreign units.

3. A copy of the "Certificate of Returned Overseas Students" issued by the Education Section (Section) of the Chinese Embassy (Consulate) abroad.

4. Original acceptance letter from the overseas unit. Except for public colleges and universities, national scientific research institutes and wholly foreign-owned enterprises, enterprises and institutions in Beijing should go through the "unit registration" procedures in advance and provide a labor contract of more than one year (inclusive) with the employed staff. Original and copy. If the labor contract includes a probation period, you must wait until the probation period ends before you can apply for dispatch and settle in Beijing. (Units in other provinces and cities do not need to go through the procedures for establishing a unit, nor do they need to provide a labor contract).

If a wholly foreign-owned enterprise is registered in Beijing, the acceptance letter can only be issued by the following six foreign affairs service agencies: Beijing Foreign Enterprise Human Resources Service Co., Ltd., China International Enterprise Cooperation Corporation, China International Technology and Intelligence Cooperation Corporation, China International Talent Development Center, China Star International Economic and Technical Cooperation Corporation, and Beijing Foreign-Invested Enterprise Service Center.

5. The original of my passport and a copy of the first page and first study abroad visa page.

If you need to apply for residence registration across provinces or cities, those holding a family household registration must provide the original household registration booklet and the first page (the page stamped by the provincial public security agency) and a copy of the personal page; those holding a collective household registration card , provide the original and copy of the household registration certificate issued by the police station (the "household registration transfer certificate" cannot be used as household registration confirmation); if the household registration has been cancelled, provide the original and copy of the household registration certificate issued by the police station; before going abroad, deposit the household registration with the Ministry of Education Study Abroad Service The central government shall provide the original and copy of the household registration contract. If you already have a formal Beijing household registration, you only need to provide the original and copy of your valid ID card.

7. Original file custody certificate issued by the institution where the file is located. If the file is still retained in the original unit, a resignation or resignation certificate stamped by the personnel department of the original unit is also required. If the file is stored at the Education Overseas Study Service Center of the Ministry of Education, a copy of the filing contract or filing card (which must be stamped with the "File Arrived" stamp) is sufficient.

8. Online application

After applying online, the system will prompt you to save basic information successfully. After continuing to fill in your study and work experience, close the window and complete the online application.

After the online application is completed, the overseas students studying in Beijing or their entrusters should bring the originals and copies of the above materials to Room 319 of the Central Returning Office to review and handle the employment settlement procedures. Those who study abroad can apply by mail.

Note: Our office only handles the employment registration procedures once. After completion, the overseas students will have the status of cadres. If there is a change of work unit, the overseas students should follow the domestic transfer procedures.
