What do you mean by German-American Jews?

Descendants of German Jews with American citizenship, after the demise of ancient Israel and Judah, the Israelis were scattered all over the country. Although some Jews returned to their homeland, except for the short 80-year Maccabee dynasty and Israel, which was re-established in 1948, Jews almost always lived in scattered places. Of course, they have their own communities and religious sites in different places of life. Sometimes, in order to distinguish their places of residence, they will be called XX Jews, such as German Jews, that is, Jews living in Germany. During World War II, a large number of German Jews fled, and some later went to the United States and obtained American citizenship, so they sometimes called themselves German-American Jews.
