New Zealand’s new policy for visiting family visas

Passport and visa: Passengers entering New Zealand must bring their passport, which is valid for at least 3 months longer than the expected date of departure. 1. Valid passport;

2. Complete the visa application form and supplementary form;

3. Two photos (two-inch color photos with white background);

4. During the applicant’s visit to New Zealand Proof of funds required for the required expenses;

5. Copy of ID card;

6. Original or copy of household registration booklet;

7. Work unit A letter of proof of employment issued (please print it on the unit’s letterhead), the applicant’s name, position, purpose of visit, and contact information of the New Zealand inviting party, etc.;

8. If the applicant is self-employed or Corporate shareholders need to provide the following materials: A. Capital verification report B. Statement on the company's business scope and number of employees C. Recent tax bills and financial profit and loss reports D. Originals of recent bank statements confirmed by bank seals;

9. A copy of the business license of the workplace (must be stamped with the official seal);

10. Notarized certificate of kinship (must have an English translation).

Special circumstances:

If you need to bring students or children with you, please prepare the following additional information (independent applications from students or children to the embassy will not be accepted):

1 . If you are traveling with both parents, please provide a set of notarized documents proving the kinship relationship between the three parties.

2. If you are traveling with one of your parents, please provide a set of notarized documents proving the kinship relationship between the three parties. The parent who is not traveling must also provide a notarized consent document.

3. If you are traveling with non-direct relatives other than your parents, please provide a set of notarized documents proving the relationship between the three parties and a set of notarized documents proving the consent of both parents.

4. The child must be the main applicant for the above notarized documents.

5. If the applicant is a student, please provide a letter from the school confirming leave approval. An English letter printed on the school’s official letterhead paper must be used. The content includes: school name, department or class of the student, and travel time. , the signature of the department leader or principal, as well as the telephone number and contact address, and it must be specified to guarantee that the applicant will continue his studies after returning to China as scheduled.

Special groups

1. Temporary residents need to provide a copy of their temporary residence permit (it took effect six months ago. If it is less than six months ago, please provide the old temporary residence permit or a certificate issued by the local public security bureau or neighborhood committee. Original letter, please consult for confirmation for specific country requirements).

2. Retirees do not need the Chinese company information. They only need to provide the original retirement certificate (if a retirement certificate has not yet been applied for, a certificate of internal retirement issued by the original unit must be provided).

3. Housewives need to provide the original certificate of housewife (issued by the local neighborhood committee to prove their status as housewives; one for each visa).

4. Current students must provide the original certificate of leave approval from the school. 1. Printed on the school’s official letterhead paper. 2.
