What are the Australian skilled immigrant visas?

Three types of visas for skilled immigrants in Australia:

1. General Skilled Immigrant Visa (Category 189) (Skilled Independent Visa)

2. Sponsored skilled migration (category 190) (technical nomination visa)

Australia 190 sponsored skilled immigrants are suitable for skilled immigrants who want to work or stay in Australia after being nominated by the Australian state government or regional government. Australia's 190 visa and 189 visa are both permanent residence visas. The only difference is that 189 visa holders can settle anywhere in Australia, while 190 visa holders need to live in the nominated state or region for a certain period of time after landing in Australia.

3. Technical area (required) visa (489).
