Jiuzhou Town is located in the southern part of Qiongshan District, with a total area of ??about 126 square kilometers. Located at 19046' north latitude and 110024' east longitude, it is connected to Hongqi Town and Sanmenpo Town in the east; Jiazi Town in the south; it borders Ding'an in the southwest; it faces Xinpo Town and Longquan Town across the river in the west; it is adjacent to Yunlong Town in the north and crosses the Yangtze River in the south. It has a history of 1377 years since its founding.
