The village Committee is stationed in Xiaoshu. The villagers are mainly locals, and Shaoxing immigrants moved in at the end of the Qing Dynasty. In the early 1950s, some Jiangbei boat people settled in Xiaoshu, living in the middle street, upper street and lower street of Xiaoshu. In the 1960s and 1970s, immigrants from two major reservoirs, Laoshikan and Pumice, moved in and distributed in various natural villages. 1992,559 households, 1907 people.
