Why are there black people in Britain and France, but not in Italy, Germany and Spain?

Of course, there are African Americans in Italy, Germany or Spain, but the number is very small. On the southern shore of the Mediterranean is white Africa, mainly Arabs. Italy is indeed one of the least black-skinned African-American immigrants in western European countries.

There are more African immigrants in Britain and France, usually because of their colonial history.
