Conditions of same-sex marriage certificate from Mainland China to Taiwan Province Province

Legal Analysis: According to the regulations, if all homosexuals are citizens of Taiwan Province Province, they can apply for marriage certificates directly in Taiwan Province Province. However, if one of the lovers is from the mainland, the other is from Taiwan Province Province, or both of them are from the mainland, and they want to get a marriage certificate in Taiwan Province Province, they must first get a marriage certificate in the mainland, and then they can get a reunion certificate issued by Taiwan Province Province to enter Taiwan Province Province through SEF notarization, and then they can get a marriage certificate issued by Taiwan Province Province. So from this perspective, it is impossible for mainland homosexuals to get a valid marriage certificate in Taiwan Province Province.

Legal basis: Article 2 of the Implementing Rules No.748 of the Law Interpretation of the Ministry of Science and Technology, for the purpose of running a common life, two people of the same sex can establish an intimate and exclusive permanent marriage relationship.
