Brief introduction of butterfly TV story

Butterfly tells the story of Duan Ling, a researcher who has been obsessed with butterfly research for more than 20 years, and her long-lost husband Zhuang Wuyi and brain surgeon Johnson.

The inspiration of the TV series Butterfly comes from a real event that was widely circulated three years ago. Taking an immigrant family in China as the main body, it tells the story of a China woman who saved the lives and souls of two men with her deep love: her husband, Zhuang Wuyi, separated from Duan Ling for many years and got a divorce.

When preparing to return to China, Zhuang Dancing Clothes, who manages the Butterfly Hotel for a living, had an accident and became a vegetable. The daughter of brain surgeon Johnson was killed in the car accident. So Johnson concealed his identity and came to the hotel, bent on waking Zhuang Dance Clothes and sending him to prison to accept legal sanctions.

In the play, Ni Ping, the imperial heroine played by Yang Yazhou, continues to be reused as the No.1 female Duan Ling. Wei Liu, who played opposite Ni Ping for many times, also made a great breakthrough in this play. It is undoubtedly a challenge for Liu Wei, who lacks overseas life experience, for Wei Liu and Ni Ping to revisit Husband and Wife and play a China man who is struggling for his career in Canada.
