The People's Republic of China Travel Permit to and from Hong Kong and Macao, commonly known as the Two-way Permit, is a travel document issued by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Exit-Entry Administration of the Ministry of Public Security to China mainland residents for private travel to and from Hong Kong or Macao, visiting relatives, engaging in business, training, employment, studying abroad and other non-official activities. Before coming to Hong Kong and Macao, you must obtain an endorsement issued by the mainland public security department for the purpose of Hong Kong and Macao, such as group travel, individual travel, business or other endorsements.

To apply for the Hong Kong and Macao Pass for the first time, you must go to the exit-entry administration department of the public security bureau where your account is located in person, and you can't entrust others to handle it, nor can you handle it in different places.
