Rabin's efforts to solve the Middle East peace problem and its evaluation

Yitzhak Rabin was born in Jerusalem on March 1922 and grew up in Tel Aviv. He was educated in agricultural school and Miami University. Rabin joined the "Palma Commando" (Jewish secret armed group) at the end of 1940, and participated in the allied fighting behind the enemy lines in Syria during World War II. 1946 Rabin was detained by the British authorities for rescuing Jewish immigrants imprisoned by the British in Park Jung-soo concentration camp, and was released in June of the same year. Rabin served as the Brigadier of the "harel" brigade during the first Arab-Israeli war in 1948, and fought on the Jerusalem front. At the time of the armistice, he was the brigade commander of the Negev Brigade. As a member of the postwar Israeli military delegation, he participated in the armistice negotiations in Rhode Island. 1950- 1952 served as the chief of operations of the general staff of Israel, 1953- 1954 studied at the staff college in Canterbury, England, and after returning to China 1954- 1956 served as the chief of military training of the general staff of Israel. 1956 to 1959 served as commander of the northern military region, 1959 to 1963 served as director and deputy chief of staff of the general staff, and 1964 to 1968 served as chief of staff.

Rabin was the main organizer and commander of the Third Arab-Israeli War-1967 June 5th War. 1968, Rabin retired from politics and became the ambassador to the United States in the same year; 1973 returned to China as the Minister of Labor; 1974 was elected as a member of parliament; 1974 was elected as the leader of the Labor Party; and in May of the same year, he became the Prime Minister of the Cabinet. 1974 to April 1977, served as leader of the labor party. 1977 resigned in April because Mrs. Rabin's illegal deposits in the United States were revealed. 1September 1984 to1September 1990, Rabin served as the Minister of National Defense in the coalition government formed by the Labor Party and Likud Group. 1In February 1992, Rabin was re-elected as the chairman of the Labor Party. 1In June 1992, the Labour Party won the general election in Israel and Rabin became the Prime Minister. Rabin's appointment as prime minister has played a positive role in promoting the Middle East peace process.

UNESCO awarded Rabin the Boigny Peace Prize. From 65438 to 0994, Rabin won the Nobel Peace Prize for promoting the Middle East peace process. In the same year, he won the Prince of asturias 1994 International Cooperation Award.
