At present, 43 cities in China can apply for passports in different places.

43 cities include:

Beijing, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan, Hohhot, Shenyang, Dalian, Changchun, Harbin, Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Hefei, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Nanchang, Jinan, Qingdao, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanning, Haikou, Chongqing, Chengdu, Guiyang, Kunming, Xi 'an and Wuxi.

The specific procedure is:

1. Bring my ID card to the local police station, the exit-entry administration department of the Public Security County Bureau, the exit-entry administration department of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau or the participating travel agencies to receive the Approval Form for China Citizens Going Abroad for Private Purposes (hereinafter referred to as the "Application Form").

2. Fill in the application form.

3. Submit an application. When submitting an application, you must bring the following materials:

4. get a passport. After accepting the application, the Exit-Entry Administration Office of Beijing Public Security Bureau will examine and approve and issue passports within 14 working days. When you get your passport, you must take it with you.
