1. According to the Agreement between the Government of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Government of the People's Republic of Mongolia on Citizens' Exchanges between the two sides, people who come to Mongolia for less than 30 days with passports of the People's Republic of China, foreign passports, official passports and ordinary official passports are exempt from Mongolian visas.

2. Those who come to work or study in Mongolia with People's Republic of China (PRC)'s ordinary official passport and stay in Mongolia for more than 30 days must obtain a Mongolian visa in advance.

3. Those who come to Mongolia with ordinary passports of the People's Republic of China must get a visa in advance.

China citizens who need to apply for visas can do so at Mongolian Embassy in China (Beijing), Consulate General in Hohhot, Consulate General in Erenhot and Consulate General in Shanghai. At present, the Mongolian Consulate in Hulunbeier is temporarily closed.

According to the Law on the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens newly implemented in June 1 20265438, the number of visas in Mongolia has increased to 64, which can be roughly divided into investment (b), labor (c), studying abroad (e), visiting relatives (f), immigration (g), individual (h) and temporary (k) according to the purpose of entry. According to different industries, school types and applicant status, each visa can be subdivided into several categories.

The visa period ranges from 3 days to 365 days, and the number of entry and exit is divided into one, two and multiple times. After foreign citizens enter Mongolia, the citizens, commercial entities or organizations that provide accommodation for them shall go through the relevant registration procedures with the Mongolian Bureau of Foreign Citizenship and Nationality (hereinafter referred to as the Immigration Bureau) within 48 hours after their arrival in Mongolia. If your visa expires and you stay here, you must apply for an extension at the immigration office. Ways to apply for visa extension: Applicants must submit a written application for visa extension to the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Bureau five working days before the visa expires, and Mongolia will apply for visa extension as appropriate. Foreign citizens who come to Mongolia temporarily need to renew their contracts every 90 days. During the epidemic, the Immigration Bureau has taken temporary measures to extend the visa. Please check with the Immigration Bureau for details. If the visa is not extended upon expiration, the Immigration Bureau will punish it according to law. Penalties include fines, leaving the country within a time limit, deportation and restrictions on coming to Mongolia again.

Customs epidemic prevention

Every passenger must fill in the "Entry Declaration Form" when entering Mongolia and keep it for future reference when leaving the country.

According to the relevant regulations, each passenger can carry the following items duty-free: cigarettes, 1 (200 cigarettes, 250g tobacco); Wine, 1 liter white wine, 2 liters red wine, 3 liters beer.

When entering or leaving the country with 5.58 million-22.28 million maps (1 RMB is about 440 maps, and the exchange rate is 202 1 1 month) or cash with equivalent currency, it must be truthfully declared to the Mongolian customs. When more than 22.28 million yuan or equivalent currency leaves Mongolia, a certificate of the source of funds provided by the finance department of Mongolia and uniformly printed by the Central Bank of Mongolia shall be issued.

In addition to the general prohibition of carrying articles, when entering or leaving Mongolia, special attention should be paid not to carry minerals, maps printed with Mongolian geological data, mobile media and computers for storing Mongolian geological maps and geological data, so as to avoid unnecessary troubles. Some shops with special permission can also apply for export certificates for the cultural relics they sell.

Residence naturalization

I. Residence

After foreign citizens enter Mongolia, the citizens, commercial entities or organizations that provide accommodation for them shall go through the relevant registration procedures with the Mongolian Bureau of Foreign Citizenship and Nationality (hereinafter referred to as the Immigration Bureau) within 48 hours after their arrival in Mongolia.

Foreign citizens can apply for residence permits to the Immigration Bureau and other examination and approval agencies. Depending on the visa, the duration of the residence permit ranges from/kloc-0 to 5 years, and the extension period ranges from 6 months to 3 years.

Migrant workers in Mongolia should hold Mongolian labor visas, not tourist or investment visas, and can only engage in industries stipulated by visas. For example, foreign citizens with a "C 1" visa can only engage in the road and bridge and construction industries. After the entry personnel with work visas arrive in Mongolia, the employer shall pay the "post fee" to the General Administration of Labor and Welfare Services of Mongolia in time and apply for residence permit at the Immigration Bureau. Second, nationality.

Mongolia does not recognize dual nationality. Foreign citizens who apply for Mongolian nationality must first renounce their original nationality.

To apply for Mongolian nationality, the following conditions should be met: having certain living ability and economic source; Understand the customs and habits of the Mongolian people, the official language, the Mongolian Constitution, etc. , and lived in Mongolia for five years before applying for naturalization, with no criminal record. If you become a Mongolian citizen, the citizen's relationship with foreign countries should not damage Mongolia's reputation and interests.

Mongolian law expresses the nationality of children born in Mongolia as follows: (1) Both parents are Mongolian citizens, and their children have Mongolian nationality regardless of whether they were born in Mongolia or not. (2) If one parent is of Mongolian nationality and the other parent is of foreign nationality, a child born in Mongolia has Mongolian nationality. If the child is born in a foreign country, parents should sign a written agreement to choose the nationality of the child. (3) Children whose parents are Mongolian and whose parents are stateless have Mongolian nationality, no matter where they were born. (4) Children of unknown Mongolian parents have Mongolian nationality. (5) Children born in Mongolia to stateless parents who live permanently in Mongolia can voluntarily apply for and obtain Mongolian nationality after reaching the age of 16. (6) Mongolian children under the age of 16 adopted by stateless persons have Mongolian nationality.
