The Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CPAA) and the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAA) are institutions designated by the Australian Immigration Department with legal qualifications to evaluate accounting professionals. International students can only study CPA. Australian chartered accountant qualification and membership are only granted to Australian permanent residents and citizens, so you can only become a full member from associate member after successfully immigrating to Australia. NIA has the right to sign audit reports and financial reports, and can work in the fields of accounting, auditing, taxation, financial services, management consulting, bankruptcy execution, investment consulting and senior management permitted by law.

NIA, a wholly-owned Australian Accounting Education (AEA), is a higher education institution approved by the Australian government, and is eligible to issue advanced diplomas (equivalent to a three-year diploma in China).
