On the east side of the northern end of Hutong is Zhuangzi's former residence, and at the south end of the former residence is Zhuangzi's lecture hall. Zhuangzi's former residence and Zhuangzi's lecture were destroyed by fire and flood, and now they no longer exist. There is an ancient pavilion in the southeast corner of Zhuangzi Hutong. There is an ancient well in the pavilion, which is tens of feet deep. The wall is as hard as aragonite and as shiny as black jade. The spring water is clear and sweet, which is where Zhuangzi lives and draws water for alchemy. Later, it was flooded by the Yellow River several times. After several repairs, it has been preserved to this day, and it is called "Zhuangzi Well".
