Is there a conflict between immigration and patriotism?

In fact, many overseas Chinese are very patriotic. When they encounter domestic disasters, they donate money. They are proud of China's achievements and oppose separatism, and so on.

Actually, patriotism has nothing to do with immigration. People who emigrate abroad are patriotic but not patriotic. Those who stay in China are patriotic.

It is a very narrow view to think that immigrants are unpatriotic.
