According to the needs of epidemic prevention and control work and the fact that some countries and regions have implemented entry control measures against the COVID-19 epidemic, in order to protect the health and life safety of Chinese and foreign personnel and maintain the normal order of entry and exit, we suggest that mainland residents who have plans to leave the country in the near future reasonably determine their travel time to avoid possible unnecessary losses.

Legal basis: Article 42 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases. When an infectious disease breaks out and spreads, the local people's government at or above the county level shall immediately organize forces to prevent and control it according to the prevention and control plan, cut off the transmission route of the infectious disease, and, if necessary, report to the people's government at the next higher level for decision, and may take the following emergency measures and make an announcement:

(1) Restrict or stop fairs, theaters or other performances.

(2) suspension of work, business and classes;

(3) sealing or sealing public drinking water sources, food and related articles contaminated by infectious disease pathogens;

(4) controlling or culling infected wild animals, domestic animals and poultry;

(5) Close the places that may cause the spread of infectious diseases.

when the people's government at a higher level receives the report of the people's government at a lower level on taking the emergency measures listed in the preceding paragraph, it shall make a decision immediately. The lifting of emergency measures shall be decided and announced by the original decision-making organ.
