The difference between port and customs

1. 2. Establishment principle: The establishment of ports is based on the national opening-up policy. All ports open to the outside world, including ports, land ports and air ports, can be established. On the other hand, the establishment of customs is based on the opening of ports, and it must also be set up in places where customs supervision business is concentrated.

3. Work content: The work of the port is mainly to collect and distribute import and export goods and supervise and inspect the entry and exit of personnel. The work of the customs is to supervise, inspect and levy taxes on import and export commodities, and deal with illegal acts.
