Foreigners need to prepare these documents when buying a house in Russia.

The documents that the buyer needs to carry when signing the sales contract include: valid passport, valid visa, landing visa, entry card, translated and original official certificate of spouse's consent (if married). If the buyer needs to apply for a loan in the process of buying a house, he may need to prepare a tax payment certificate (working in Russia), a certificate of no bad record and illegal record, a certificate of property source, and an application form for personal housing loan (in the format provided by the bank).
